subscript and superscript in gmail

For entering subscript and superscript in gmail follow these steps
      1) open the ms word file.
      2) now type the word with subscript or superscript in document, you find this feature in font bar in home 
          menu in ms word 2007/10
      3)now copy the word with subscript or superscript.
      4)all you have to do is click paste while composing mail.

    1. That's becasue Microsoft Word is the work of the devil.
      Try LibreOffice, it is free. I just tried the above suggestion using LibreOffice and... it worked
